Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on mumspace for making it such a supportive and friendly community. I’ve been kinda of busy with things over the last couple of months and haven’t been around as much as usual.

Things have been a little busy since my last post which is why I’ve been a little quiet! I recently spend a weekend in Melbourne for a business conference and it is the first time I’ve been away from my boys in nearly 4 years. It was great though and even though I missed the men in my life I have come back refreshed with lots of new ideas and enthusiasm.

You know you’re getting old when someone asks you to play in a Masters sporting team. Apparently if your over thirty you’re considered a Master! Technically I’m not 31 until July, so maybe I don’t qualify?

Where did the years go?

Now I know I live in Brissie and not down south but it has been so cold this week! The problem is I really don’t have enough warm clothes seeing as we only need them for a few months of the year. But at least I get the chance to wear some boots again which I love to do. Thinking of you down south where it is even colder. Don’t know how you do it!

Just read an article yesterday about a new study which say working mums are spending lots of quality time with their kids and more than other people think. However working mums do a lot of juggling and can get burnt out in the process.

So it seems if you are working mum or not, every mum does her best to ensure her kids get the most of her time possible.

I still believe the old saying… what’s best ...

It used to be the mumspace breastfeeding  support group but it has had a big facelift so check it out http://mumknowsbreast.mumspace.net. Otherwise do a search and add it to your fav mumspace groups. I finally did it and booked myself a facial - utter bliss! Too many times as mums we forget about ourselves and I thought after the week I had last week that I deserved it. I really should do that more ofter - I can’t remember the last time I had one.

I had a very frightening experience yesterday. I took my two little boys to a free Easter festival yesterday as my husband was working and kids were going stir crazy.
