Finally after 2 weeks with the flu, I’m feeling back on track. I’m still taking it easy but am finally feeling like a human again and part of the real world! The Dreaded Lurgy!

Why is it you always get sick when there is so much else to do and you are really busy? Brisbane is in the middle of a flu epidemic and our household is now involved. With Winter comes illness!

Thanks to bout of conjunctivitis from the local kindy, the boys and I have spent a week at home feeling sick! The thing I hate about winter is the cold and the flu. Must be the reason why I live in QLD - winter is short-lived. Please come back soon summer…

I feel sick…

Why is it that mums never have sick days? It doesn’t seem fair!!! I think we need an award structure.

The boys in my house have taken it in turns to repeatedly vomit all over the house - one after the other.  Next darling husband becomes ill and has the day off. I was feeling rather smug, if not smelly from vomit, that I had managed to avoid the bug.
