Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on mumspace for making it such a supportive and friendly community. I’ve been kinda of busy with things over the last couple of months and haven’t been around as much as usual.
But I still feel welcome when I do finally get around to posting. So thanks everyone…

A great way to get my blog up and running again. I’ve been tagged by the lovely Donna-Marie. So here goes…
The Rules:
1.Mention the person who tagged you and create a link back to them.
2.Pick your month of birth.
3.Copy-paste the traits for all the twelve months (see below).
4.Highlight the traits that apply to you and if you would like write some wit or not.
5.Tag 12 people and let them ...

There’s one thing I really hate once the weather warms up in QLD. No it’s not the heat, humidity or lack of airconditioning. It’s the early morning starts. It seems my eldest son, nearly 4, has a pre-programed inner alarm clock that is set to daylight! This morning was 5:30am - anything before a 6 is way to early for me. I like 7s much better but alas that’s not going to happen until next ...

Things have been a little crazy since my last post! My husband spent 10 days away with work and returned home on Sunday. So it was just me and my active little boys at home which meant little time for anything else - except work, feed, play, sleep and start all over again! I take my hats off to the single mums out there as it is really hard work on your own.
I have to say ...

Things have been a little busy since my last post which is why I’ve been a little quiet! I recently spend a weekend in Melbourne for a business conference and it is the first time I’ve been away from my boys in nearly 4 years. It was great though and even though I missed the men in my life I have come back refreshed with lots of new ideas and enthusiasm.
Anyone the same as me ...

Today was one of those days that don’t come along very often. The weather was a perfect, sunny, Brissie day and as I live near the bay I decided to take the boys to Coochiemudlo island. A little island on beautiful Moreton Bay with a sandy beach only 5 mins from the mainland on a ferry. It’s on days like this, I remember why I love living in QLD.
They boys were so well-behaved and loved building sandcastles ...

Finally after 2 weeks with the flu, I’m feeling back on track. I’m still taking it easy but am finally feeling like a human again and part of the real world! I have to make sure I stay healthy this time and not overdo as I have some exciting things coming up. We have an exciting new nursing wear range coming out soon at Nuvo Maternity and my little boys birthdays aren’t too far away. ...

Donna Marie has just tagged me… so now it’s my turn to share.
First of all I need to tell you the rules of this tag:
a) Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves.
b) The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed.
c) At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them ...

Why is it you always get sick when there is so much else to do and you are really busy? Brisbane is in the middle of a flu epidemic and our household is now involved. Had a trip to the hospital on Saturday with my eldest son, 3 and now the rest of us are coming down with it. The worst thing is you feel so helpless when your children are sick, especially my youngest who ...

It seems the second child grows up so much faster when they have an older role model to follow. Be afraid when there is silence…be very afraid! It seems my mummy radar was a little off yesterday maybe because I was extremely tired and getting over the effects of another episode of laryngitis.
Anyway, I was quickly preparing dinner after another busy day and I thought my two boys were off helping their Dad doing boy things i.e. ...
